ALMATY INVEST AND HONGBANG NEW ENERGY TECHNOLOGY SIGN A MEMORANDUM OF COOPERATION

Almaty Invest has signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Hongbang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a manufacturer of electric two-wheeled vehicles and micromobility solutions.

The signing of the memorandum marks the continuation of cooperation initiated during the Almaty delegation’s visit to Nanjing, where the first contacts were established and promising areas of collaboration were identified. Today, both parties are moving forward to practical discussions on the implementation of joint projects.

As part of the cooperation, the parties are exploring the possibility of establishing assembly facilities in Almaty for electric bicycles, electric scooters, and electric motorcycles, as well as developing a battery swapping station network.

The implementation of the project will contribute to the development of sustainable transportation, the localization of manufacturing, and the creation of new jobs in Almaty.
