BUSINESS VISIT OF THE ALMATY DELEGATION TO SHENZHEN, CHINA 🇰🇿🇨🇳

As part of a working trip to the People’s Republic of China, the Almaty delegation visited the city of Shenzhen — one of the world’s key centers for information technology and innovation development.

During the visit, a meeting was held with the Shenzhen Entrepreneurs Association and the leadership of the organization responsible for protecting the rights and interests of foreign-invested enterprises. The parties discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation, exchanging experience in IT development, and investment interaction.

The Almaty delegation proposed exploring the possibility of opening a Shenzhen city representative office — in China’s southern IT capital — in Almaty, as a leading business and technology hub in Central Asia. The initiative aims to strengthen partnership, attract technology companies, and launch joint projects.

An open meeting with major regional entrepreneurs was organized with the support of the Shenzhen city administration. During the event, the delegation presented Almaty’s investment potential, current government support measures, and promising areas for cooperation. Special attention was given to the IT park construction project within the master plan for the development of Almaty’s Polycenters, which attracted the interest of investors.

At the end of the program, the delegation visited several innovative enterprises in Shenzhen, where modern technological solutions and advanced business development approaches were demonstrated.
