A Special Economic Zone (SEZ) is a part of the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan with clearly defined borders, operating under a special legal regime for carrying out priority types of activities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

SEZs are established to accelerate the development of modern, high-performance, and competitive industries, attract investments and new technologies in various economic sectors and regions, and increase employment.<\/strong><\/p>\n

    Required package of documents<\/h3>\n

    The SEZ participant may choose any method of financial security, including a combination of several methods.<\/p>\n

    If the legal entity is not a resident of the Republic of Kazakhstan and not registered as a taxpayer in Kazakhstan at the time of submission, a copy of a certificate of non-registration as a taxpayer with the state revenue authorities must be provided.<\/p>\n

    Foreign legal entities must provide legalized documents listed in points 2), 4), and 5) of the first part of this section, a legalized extract from the trade registry, or another legalized document confirming that the foreign legal entity is recognized as a legal entity under the laws of its home country, along with a notarized translation into Kazakh and Russian.<\/p>\n
