ALMATY INVEST HELD A MEETING WITH THE CECC CLUB DELEGATION
Almaty Invest welcomed a delegation from CECC CLUB (Chinese Entrepreneurs Commerce Club), one of China’s largest business platforms, bringing together more than 9,000 enterprises, over 300 publicly listed companies, and executives of leading industrial and investment organizations.
The meeting brought together key decision-makers—business owners, chairpersons of boards, chief executive officers, and investors. Such meetings serve as the starting point for future investment projects by creating direct dialogue without intermediaries and laying the foundation for long-term strategic partnerships.
Particular interest was shown in Almaty’s flagship investment projects, opportunities for industrial localization, the development of industrial infrastructure, the digital economy, and high-tech industries. For Almaty, this engagement provides an opportunity to present the city’s investment potential directly to business leaders who are actively seeking new investment opportunities, business expansion, and access to regional markets.
Among the delegation members was Stephen Yue, a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) and a graduate of the Owner/President Management (OPM) program at Harvard Business School. His participation added further international significance to the meeting, bringing extensive experience in working with global business leaders and valuable expertise in strategic development.
The meeting marked another important step toward expanding investment cooperation between Almaty and the Chinese business community, while creating new opportunities for the implementation of joint projects in priority sectors of the economy.
