ALMATY INVEST EXPANDS INTERNATIONAL PARTNERSHIPS IN REAL ESTATE DEVELOPMENT
Major investments are about far more than figures and signed agreements. They are about people, ideas, and a shared vision of what a city should become over the next 10–20 years.
This was the focus of a meeting between Olzhas Smagulov, Deputy Akim of Almaty, the Almaty Invest team, and leading Vietnamese real estate developers.
Today, global developers are creating more than individual buildings—they are developing integrated urban districts where residential communities coexist with public spaces, offices, parks, hotels, restaurants, and vibrant destinations that people want to return to. This is the very principle behind Sairan Downtown, one of the flagship projects shaping the future of Almaty.
During the meeting, the parties presented the project’s vision and discussed opportunities for international partners to participate in the development of mixed-use, commercial, residential, hospitality, and tourism infrastructure.
The Vietnamese company’s portfolio includes projects in London, Paris, Gibraltar, and Bishkek, demonstrating that modern real estate development is not only about architecture but also about creating comfortable, sustainable, and people-oriented urban environments.
Almaty is already moving in this direction. Today, the city is evolving into a modern polycentric metropolis, where new districts are designed as integrated spaces for living, working, recreation, and social interaction.
Meetings like these are essential because they bring together partners who share a common vision for the city’s future and help transform ambitious ideas into projects that will shape a better Almaty.
